Making another addition to the front office, Vallejo Admirals Professional Baseball has brought aboard Cal announcer Scott Armstrong as the club’s new Media Director.
As the club makes preparations for the 2018 season and its defense of the Pacific Association title, Armstrong will help to curate the team’s media channels, including in-game entertainment, radio broadcasting, webcasting, and media relations.
“I thank the Admirals and their leadership for the opportunity to join the team at such an exciting time,” Armstrong said. “It will be fun to serve the Admirals fan base and the people of Vallejo in this unique role.”
“The media department has been a significant part of what we do here at the Admirals,” said owner Kevin Reilly. “We think that with Scott’s background at Cal, our operation will continue to thrive.”
The Admirals begin their title defense at Vallejo’s Wilson Park on Thursday, May 31, at 6:35 p.m., in the season’s Opening Day contest against the visiting Pittsburg Diamonds. Season and group ticket information is available at vallejoadmirals.com, or by phone at (707) 641-1111.
