The Vallejo Admirals had the ultimate walkoff against the San Rafael Pacifics at Wilson Park on Wednesday.

The Admirals (9-11) scored in the bottom of the 11th inning when Gadiel Baez walked with the bases loaded to bring home teammate Wilfredo Petit for a 2-1 win.

Petit had singled earlier in the inning with two outs. Joseph Hicks then singled as well and the bases then became loaded whey Lydell Moseby reached on an error before Baez got the game-winning RBI.

Petit had a nice day at the plate as he had two hits and drove home P.J. Phillips in the bottom of the fourth inning for Vallejo’s only other run.

The win went to Carlos Pinales, who pitched three strong innings in relief and gave up just one hit. Roman Gomez started the game for the Admirals and went eight innings, striking out eight and only giving up one run. The only run he gave up came in the top of the fifth when Ricky Gingras tripled to lead off the inning and later scored an RBI groundout by Zack Pace.

The Admirals Jackson Valera continued his hot hitting as he collected three more hits in four at bats to raise his average to .467. Tim Williams had two hits for the Admirals as well.

The two teams continue their series on Thursday at Wilson Park. The Pacifics (10-9) are tied for first place in the Pacific Association with the Sonoma Stompers.
