The Vallejo Admirals lost their 10th straight game on Saturday and this one was a heartbreaker.

The Admirals (31-38) led 4-0 but the San Rafael Pacifics scored seven times in the eighth inning for an eventual 7-4 win at Albert Park.

Ex-Diamond Wes Wallace hit a grand slam in the bust-out inning for San Rafael (45-24).

Vallejo starting pitcher Jalen Miller Sr. threw seven excellent innings, allowing just two hits and no runs. He struck out eight and walked one.

Benicia High grad Peter Reyes suffered the loss, allowing three hits and four runs in 1/3 of an inning.

Nick Akins Sr. hit his 26th homer and had two more RBIs for 71.

The two teams conclude the series on Sunday.
