The Vallejo Admirals stayed in a first place tie in the Pacific Association on Friday after a wild 17-10 win on the road against the Napa Silverados at Napa Valley College.
The two teams combined for 34 hits and the Admirals (13-7) got home runs from Nick Akins Sr., Vladimir Gomez and Chris Fornaci.
Admirals starting pitcher Jalen Miller went 4 1/3 innings, eight hits and seven runs. Luis Ramirez picked up the win in relief and Tim Holmes and Michael Pope each went an inning of scoreless relief.
Akins and Fornaci both had three hits and knocked in three. Mike Blanke returned to the Admirals and was 3-for-5. Graylin Derke, dAundray Van Slyke and Ryan Cooper all had two hits and Gomez also knocked in three.
Dominic Bethancourt was 4-for-5 with a homer for Napa (12-8).
The Admirals are in Sonoma on Saturday and Sunday.
