The Vallejo Admirals could not hold onto a 3-1 lead and lost to the Napa Silverados 6-3 on Sunday in a Pacific Association game at Wilson Park.
Admirals starting pitcher Amilcar Cruz pitched an excellent game, throwing 7 1/3 innings and allowing seven hits and two runs. He struck out 11 and walked three. Max Biedrzycki suffered the loss as he allowed four runs in 1 1/3 innings.
Vallejo led 3-1 after a two-run sixth as Nick Crouse singled and scored on an error and Vladimir Gomez had an RBI single.
Napa tied the game with a two-run eighth and then scored the go-ahead runs in the ninth with Drake Yoshioka ripping a two-run triple to put his team ahead for good.
Angel Meija picked up the win in relief as he went 2 2/3 innings and did not allow a run.
Gomez, Nick Akins Sr., Chevy Clarke and Fischer all had two hits for Vallejo.
