VALLEJO, Calif. — Catcher Wilkyns Jimenez hit a two-run double to cap a four-run sixth inning and the Vallejo Admirals held on for a 7-6 victory over the San Rafael Pacifics on Saturday in their final regular season home game of 2019 at Wilson Park.

O’Koyea Dickson homered for the third consecutive game and starting pitcher Peter Reyes (2-3) allowed four runs in six innings for the win.

Dickson hit a solo homer with one out in the first and added a single in a two-run fourth that put the Admirals in front 3-2. After the Pacifics went back in front 4-3, Vallejo retook the lead for good with the four-run uprising in the sixth. Tillman Pugh and Vladimir Gomez had run-scoring singles before Jimenez lined a double to the right field wall to score two more.

The Pacifics answered with two in the eighth but Matt Terrones came on to pitch a perfect ninth inning for his second save.

The Admirals will close out the regular season Monday at Sonoma before opening the Pacific Association playoffs on Wednesday against the Napa Silverados at Wilson Park.
