VALLEJO, Calif. — Matt Eureste homered in the second consecutive game and the Vallejo Admirals remained unbeaten against the Salina Stockade with a 13-5 win on Saturday at Wilson Park.

Eureste went 4-for-4 on the day, driving in six runs and scoring one. Jacob Wark went 3-for-5, scored two runs and drove in four; Graylin Derke went 4-for-5 and scored three while driving in two. The Admirals pounded out 16 hits.

Harold Myles (1-0) picked up the win in relief of Carl Brice.

Salina got a run in the top of the first on Louis Martini’s solo home run. Vallejo took the lead in the bottom of the second on RBI-singles by Wark and Eureste. The Stockade tied it in the fourth on a solo home run by Omar Artsen.

The Admirals used a four-run sixth to take the lead for good. Wark singled in one and Eureste followed with a three-run homer to right, his seventh of the season in 22 games with Vallejo. The Admirals scored two in the seventh and five in the eighth to put the game away.

Brice got a no decision, going five innings and allowed two runs (both earned) on three hits while striking out nine to regain the Pacific Association lead in strikeouts with 63.

The Admirals continue their five-game homestand on Tuesday with Salina returning for a 6:35 p.m. game. It will be Haute Dog Botique and Barkery Dogs in the Park at Wilson Bark.
