Adding to the host of culinary delights already available at Wilson Park during home games, Vallejo Admirals Professional Baseball announces their partnership with Mezklas Catering, a local firm that specializes in artisan Latin American cuisine. The Mezklas specialty menu will be available during Thursday home games, excepting July 12, for all guests to enjoy. The debut of Mezklas Thursdays on May 31 coincides with 2018’s Opening Night and the Admirals’ 2017 championship banner ceremony.
“It is our pleasure to welcome aboard Roberto Hernandez and Mezklas,” said Admirals assistant general manager Matt Snyder, “as our official Thursday night gourmet catering partner. It’s our goal to bring guests at Wilson Park the finest culinary options in the league, and this is another step in ensuring that.”
For only $120, the Mezklas Thursday night package includes seven meals, a $140 value. Mezklas meal vouchers may be used throughout the season at any Thursday ballgame at Wilson Park, with the exception of July 12. Vegetarian options will be available. The scheduled menu for Mezklas Thursdays is available below (subject to change and availability):
- May 31: Shrimp or Tofu Ceviche
- June 7: Lomo or Tofu Saltado
- June 14: Shrimp or Tofu Arroz Chaufa
- June 21: Pan con Chancho or Tofurkey
- June 28: Chicken or Veggie Causa
- July 5: Shrimp or Tofu Ceviche
- July 12: Not available
- July 19: Lomu or Tofu Saltado
