In a wild game, the Vallejo Admirals lost to the Pittsburg Diamonds 16-11 in 10 innings on Saturday evening at Wilson Park. Vallejo has lost four straight.

The Admirals (31-32) trailed 7-0 in the third but scored four in the third and four more in the fifth to get back in the game. They tied it 10-10 in the bottom of the ninth when Rian Kiniry walked and eventually scored on a passed ball.

The Diamonds, however, scored six in the top of the 10th, all of those against losing pitcher Brett Schneider. Only two of the six runs were earned.

Chevy Clarke hit his ninth homer for Vallejo. Vlad Gomez and Nick Crouse were both 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

Brett Smith and Ryan Lashley were both 4-for-7 for the Diamonds (30-33). Stephen Havier had three hits and four RBIs.

The two teams conclude the two-game, Pacific Association series on Sunday.
